Our co-founder & CEO, Serm Teck Choon, was invited as the moderator for a panel discussion titled “New and Unique Marketing Channels and Technologies Bring Great Opportunities” at HUAWEI Ads Summit 2022 held in Kuala Lumpur on 21st July 2022.

The panel featured distinguished panelists, including Diana Boo (Chief Marketing Officer of Boost), Anna Kim Bo Kyung (Head of Marketing of Carsome), Mochammad Iqbal (Head of Digital and eCommerce of Mindshare Malaysia), and Malcolm Wong (Vice President of Huawei Ads Products Asia, MEA and LATAM).

Serm highlighted his key takeaways at the end of the panel discussion:

1. Platforms evolve, and new choices emerge. Just remember the key – follow where your customers are. You can’t go wrong with that.

2. Apart from marketing platforms, invest in marketing technologies to build your marketing operation. It would be best if you combined the powers of adtech and martech to help you achieve your marketing objectives.

3. The industry is evolving with AI, data, marketing automation, metaverse, web 3, and all the new techs. We must learn, unlearn and relearn to embrace the changes.
